Ikejiri is a great residential area for Cheapos. Although there’s not much to see besides a huge motorway interchange (and an excellent french restaurant called Leon), it’s only a short walk away from Shibuya and trendy Nakameguro, so being an area with comparatively low rent makes it a solid cheapo residential option.
And it’s always pleasing for childish Japanese readers like myself to note that the Jiri (尻) in Ikejiri, is the character for bum (oshiri – お尻)
