Shirokanedai (白金台) is a primarily upmarket residential district located in the south western corner of Minato Ward. Despite it’s affluent image, because of the residential nature of the neighbourhood, there are plenty of lower cost shopping options – such as a large 100yen shop and branches of reasonably priced chains like La Boheme located on ‘Platina Dori’.
Shirokanedai Station on the Tokyo Metro Namboku Line and the Toei Mita Line as well as Takanawadai Station on the Toei Asakusa Line are located within the district.
