Tokyo Streets is back. This free art exhibition showcases the captivating work of more than 30 talented street photographers. This time, expect the inclusion of artists Roman Fox, Faizal Westcott, and Erin Sarigul.
What to expect
The Tokyo Streets exhibition highlights the multifaceted nature of street photography, as seen through the lenses of a diverse group of international and Japanese artists. Each photographer brings a distinctive perspective to this genre — using both film and digital cameras to bring their artistic visions to life.
Explore each photographer’s unique viewpoint and gain insights into their creative processes in person at Gallery Conceal in Shibuya. There is also a dedicated gallery featuring a collective project entitled Floating Moments, a journey through urban life.
Schedule
Along with the exhibition, there’s a documentary film night on Wednesday, May 22 featuring work from local and international short filmmakers, and on Friday 24, there’s a photo walk of the surrounding local area in Shibuya, hosted by the participating photographers.
The reception party is on the evening of Saturday, May 25 from 7 p.m.
Visit Gallery Conceal at the end of May for an enriching journey into the artistry of photography.
