Mitsui Garden Roppongi

Hotel The Celestine

Hotel The Celestine is just a stone’s throw away from one of Tokyo’s most iconic landmarks — Tokyo Tower. However, it’s just far away enough that the area is quiet and not too touristy.
The hotel is fairly classy, with some great facilities like a gym and restaurant/bar. Rooms aren’t huge, but they’re reasonable and definitely comfortable. Higher floor rooms have outstanding views of the Tokyo skyline, and some even offer glimpses of other landmarks like the Rainbow Bridge.

This shiny and new version of The Okura Tokyo opened its doors in 2019. The old hotel was demolished to make way for it, but they tried to maintain the traditional atmosphere in the newer iteration. This is especially good news for James Bond fans, who might recognize the interior from You Only Live Twice. Located in the central Tokyo neighborhood of Toranomon, you could suggest that this claim to fame makes the hotel the main attraction in the area. And it’s kind of true.
