Stretching along the beautiful red-brick warehouses, the market features an ice-skating rink, stalls, and an impressive Christmas tree display.
What is there to see and do?
The food has a definitely German flavor with stollen, sausages, and spiced wine, as well as plenty of snow globes, traditional toys, and even toffees to take home as gifts. There will be some workshop opportunities to make your own festive decorations from wreaths to candles, as well as appearances by Santa himself on certain days.
Fireworks
One of the best kept secrets of the Yokohama Christmas Market is the fireworks. They are not widely advertised and no schedule is released but they generally happen every Saturday from around 8 p.m. for about five minutes.
