Tokyo Skytree Town Halloween

From October 6 until October 31, Tokyo Skytree Town will host a variety of fun Halloween events for both children and adults.

What happens?

Halloween Parade

The main event is the Halloween Family Parade which will take place on both October 28th and 29th. Many families join this event, dress up, and march together from Solamachi Plaza to Sky Plaza. It is free to participate, all you have to do is turn up in a costume and gather at Solamachi Plaza where the parade starts. On October 28, the start time is 10:30 a.m., and October 29 starts at 1 p.m. The official Tokyo Sky Tree character, Sorakara-chan will also be in attendance and dressed up in a limited-edition costume!

Across these two days, there will also be a ‘trick-or-treat’ fair for children under elementary school age.

Tokyo Skytree Photo Spot

A limited Halloween-themed photo service will also be available at Tokyo Skytree Tembo Deck. For ¥1,500, you can take a photo that combines the spectacular night view of Tokyo with cute ghosts.

Planetarium

At the Konica Minolta Planetarium TENKU, there will be several different screenings being shown including, Star Weather, Songs for the Planetarium, Star Pilgrimage – Premium Nights and This starry sky ticks away with DREAMS COME TRUE. Before each of these, a special Halloween-themed screening will also take place.

Other events

Although not Halloween-themed, for the first time this year, the Solamachi Art & Craft Festival will be held where you can experience traditional Japanese culture and art, as well as buy work from various artists.

Tickets

Although events like the costume parade and the trick-or-treat fair are free to attend, you must pay to go into the planetarium. For this, we recommend buying the special combination ticket which gets you into both Tokyo Skytree and the Konica Minolta Planetarium TENKU, which ranges from ¥1,650 to ¥2,900.
