Get ready for a huge classical music festival set around Tokyo Station and Nihonbashi. What happens? Based on the French festival of the same name, the La Folle Journée in Tokyo also aims to spread the love of classical music across generations. While some concerts and workshops require admission, there will be free concerts and other activities as well. You can enjoy around 90 concerts from morning till night, so just turn up on the day and see what's in store, or alternatively, book ahead for your favorites. Tickets Some concerts are free and don't require reservations, but others you'll need a ticket -- paid or otherwise. To get tickets, you can either get them online or in person at the Tokyo International Forum Hall D1 Ticket Office. How to get there There will be spots to enjoy all around the Tokyo Station area, as well as Kyobashi, Ginza, Yaesu, and Hibiya, but the main venue will be at the Tokyo International Forum.
