Immersive Museum

9:00am – 8:00pm
¥2,500

It is one thing to appreciate fine art and another to venture inside it.

What happens?

Tokyo’s Immersive Museum presents an audio and visual experience that pays homage to great artists. This year, continuing on from the last exhibition of the great impressionists, they’ll focus on the post-impressionists. Works from Van Gogh, Gauguin, Seurat, and Cézanne will be on display — but as you’ve never seen them before.

Tip: It isn’t a bad idea for a date; large cushions on the ground mean you can cuddle up to your partner while surrounded by the installations.

How to get there

The museum is located in the Nihonbashi Mitsui Hall inside Coredo Muromachi. It is also part of Nihonbashi’s Eco Edo Festival, so there are many collaborations to be found in the surrounding restaurants and shops.

Tickets

Tickets will be sold online (Lawson, official site, and others) and on the door for ¥2,500. Students pay ¥1,500, and elementary students and younger enter free (but must be with a guardian).

Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
