For 6 days in October, Shinrin Park in Saitama Prefecture will hold a light-up and illumination event called “Halloween Night in the Forest”.
What happens?
Walk through the park at night enjoying the Halloween-themed artworks and installations, which include projection mapping, recycled art, lantern art, and more.

The forest event is open only for certain nights in October:
- 20th (Fri), 21st (Sat), 22nd (Sun), 27th (Fri), 28th (Sat), 29th (Sun)
In case of rain, the event will be canceled. The decision to cancel will be posted on the park website on the day.

- General (high school students and older): ¥450
- Seniors (65 and older): ¥210
- Children (junior high school and younger): Free
Getting to Shinrin Park
On event days, a shuttle bus (¥300 per person) will run from Shinrinkoen Station to the central exit of the venue. This is the best option as there is no public transportation that brings you near the event and the distance is fairly far to walk.
Alternatively, you can drive and use the parking lot at the central exit. The parking fee is ¥700/vehicle. Free for motorcycles.
