For all things stationery, head to the biggest festival in Japan: the Bungu Joshi Haku. Usually, this four-day event is held in the Tokyo Ryutsu Center but this year it will be in the Pacifico Yokohama Exhibition Hall.
What happens?
There will be all your regular favorites as well as smaller brands and limited-edition items with plenty of new designs to discover. Whether you’re after new pens, organizers or washi tape, you’ll be spoiled for choice. In 2019, over 25,000 people attended so expect crowds and try to arrive earlier in the morning if you can.
Tickets 2023
No on-the-day tickets will be sold; you must purchase them in advance. Tickets for the 14th and 15th will be ¥850, and the rest of the days will be ¥950. They will be sold on eplus.jp here.
