Who says fireworks are only for the summer months?

What happens?

While usually happening over one day in October, this year will see two days holding a 20-minute fireworks display on October 7 and 20. Despite not being the large event of past years — there will be 900 fireworks each day — there will still be plenty of onlookers packed on to the beachfront of Katase Enoshima.

Schedule

Courtesy of the earlier sunset, the start of 6:30 p.m. is much earlier than the summer festivals, making a day trip to Katase Enoshima from Tokyo a reasonable proposition.
