The Hokkaidō Fair (also called “The Hokkai Shokudō”) is a 4-day celebration of the food of Japan’s northernmost prefecture. Well known for potatoes, dairy, and meat, the region has enough speciality dishes to keep you busy for days, so make sure you arrive hungry.
Organizers report that nearly 600,000 people attend the festival.
Deals
For 2023, early visitors get a bunch of dishes that are normally ¥1,000 for ¥500. The special deal is limited to the first 50 orders from each of the 35 food vendors — so the early bird most definitely gets the worm!
Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.Late
