The Ōme City Nohryo Fireworks Festival features more than 4,000 fireworks hurled into the night sky over Nagayama Park in Ōme City in the evening of the first Saturday in August.
Tickets
While fireworks can be seen from around the venue (they are in the sky after all), you will have to pay to sit down and get a front-row view. Tickets go from ¥1,500 to ¥9,000.
How to get there
The closest station is Ōme Station on the JR Ōme Line. To get there, take a Chūō Line train from Shinjuku Station and change to the Ōme Line at Tachikawa.
Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.Early
