Oi Racecourse, sometimes written as “Ohi Racecourse” or “Oi Keibajo” is Tokyo’s most central and most prestigious horse racing venue.
Aside from horse racing, the racecourse is also the venue for a flea market and an annual illumination event during the Autumn and Winter months.
To get there, you can walk to the north entrance from Oikeibajo-mae station on the Tokyo Monorail, or you can walk to the main entrance from either Tachiaigawa Station or Omorikaigan Station on the Keikyu Main Line. The 品93 bus runs from Meguro Station, and stops at the Takanawa exit of Shinagawa Station before arriving at the main entrance of Oi Racecourse. The bus stop is called Oikeibajo-mae and is the last stop. The fare from Shinagawa is ¥210 and the journey takes about 19 minutes.
