Yokohama Oktoberfest is back. Let’s get a bit tipsy at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse Event Space.
What happens?
Slosh German pints of beer as you sing along to traditional music played throughout the day.
Menu: How much?
Beers cost between ¥1,200 to ¥1,700 for a 500ml glass and around ¥3,000 (2022 price) for a 1L mega Jug — reserved for the brave and the reckless. (Don’t get me started on the 2L mega mega jug for about ¥6,000.) An assortment of sausages begin at ¥1,000.
Note: Beer glasses will require a deposit, so don’t get too merry with the German folk songs.
What else will happen?
To really recreate the German Oktoberfest atmosphere, there will be a German orchestra playing four times a day.
- Weekdays: 13:00, 15:00, 17:00, 20:00
- Weekends and holidays: 12:00, 14:30, 16:30, 19:30
Tickets
¥500 will get you in the door (Junior High students and younger get in for free — they’ll need an adult with them), but you’ll need to pay extra for each pint and dish you want.
